With a reengineered 72 kW/98 bhp three cylinder turbo engine the smart fortwo BRABUS and the smart fortwo BRABUS Xclusive have 30 percent more power than before and still boast low fuel consumption. The sporty two-seater accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 km/h. Prices range from € 16 490 to € 22 430 (ex factory) depending on the equipment line and body type.The sporty character of the new smart fortwo BRABUS is immediately apparent. For example, it features "Monoblock VI" alloy wheels with wide tyres measuring 175/50 R 16 at the front and 225/35 R 17 at the rear, wider rear wheel arches, a sports exhaust system with centrally positioned stainless steel tailpipes and a body that has been lowered by ten millimetres. In the interior cockpit instruments with specially designed dials, BRABUS sports pedals and a three-spoke leather steering wheel with shift paddles underline the exclusiveness of this model. The transmission and suspension also have a sporty setup.The smart fortwo BRABUS Xclusive lives up to its name with additional equipment details such as H7 projection headlamps with titanium coloured surrounds, a front spoiler with enlarged air inlets, striking side skirts and a rear apron painted in the colour of the body. The seats are covered with fine leather and are heated. The leather-effect instrument panel features aluminium-look trim components.Both BRABUS models of the new smart fortwo are available as a coupé or a cabrio.Three cylinder engine with turbo power: 72 kW/98 bhp and 140 Newton metres of torqueThe turbo engine that has been improved in numerous details is the heart of the new smart fortwo BRABUS. From capacity of one litre the three-cylinder engine now develops 72 kW/98 bhp at 5500 rpm and lends the 770 kilogram two-door car remarkable agility. The weight to power ratio is just 7.8 kg/bhp - 24 percent lower than that of the previous BRABUS variant.The turbo in-line engine develops maximum torque of 140 Newton metres at 3500 rpm. The BRABUS variant of the smart fortwo sprints from zero to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 155 km/h.With combined fuel consumption of just 5.2 litres per 100 kilometres the new smart fortwo BRABUS is one of the most economical cars in its size and power category. BMW обнови шестата си серия

BMW представи обновеното моделно поколение 2008 година версиите купе и кабриолет на шестата си серия. Основните акценти при двата автомобила са били постигането на още по- голям комфорт чрез въвеждането на нови материали и опции.
Освен по интериора, дизайнерите на баварския гигант са поработили и по екстериора на шестата серия. Въздухозаборниците са станали още по- големи, добавени са два нови цвята- Deep Sea Blue и Space Gray, в задния спойлер е интегриран стоп, а задния светлинен блок е почти изцяло променен и изграден около LED технологията.
Към екипировката на версиите купе и кабриолет на моделното поколение 2008 година на шестата серия на BMW е добавена и система за известяване при неволно пресичане на осевата линия. Електронната система следи поведението на автомобила и водача, и при опасност подава сигнал- вибрация, по волана на колата.

Official details for the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Sessanta

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show back in March, Ferrari’s new 612 Scaglietti Sessanta is ready to go on sale with a limited run of just 60 cars. Packed with Ferrari’s full enhancement package, the 612 Sessanta is only available with the F1 gearbox and either Grigio scuro or Rubino Micalizzato color schemes. Unique features include the underbody painted in Ferrari’s technical black and the headlights and rear-bumper getting silver highlights.
Other additions to the exterior include an electro-chromic panoramic roof panel with three transparency positions, new monolithic and forged 19in wheels, a unique grille and special ‘612 Sessanta’ badging. The car is also optioned with Ferrari’s carbon-ceramic braking system with black colored calipers as standard.
Inside, owners are treated to a steering wheel with a three-position Manettino and engine start button, a unique instrument cluster, plus a Bose stereo, rear-parking camera, TV tuner and cruise control. Follow the jump for more images including several shots of the interior.

Fisker Coachbuild delivers its first car

After establishing his company Fisker Coachbuild in sunny California back in 2005, former Aston Martin designer Henrik Fisker has delivered his first car at a ceremony at the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance in Beverly Hills. The car in question is a 2007 Fisker Latigo CS V10 coupe, number one out of an exclusive run of just 150 cars.
The Latigo line of cars is based on the BMW 6-series family, with the CS V10 model running on the mechanicals of a donor M6. Power levels have been boosted to 648hp, which enables the super-coupe to reach 60mph from rest in just 3.9 seconds.
The range starts with a $199,000 V8 model based on the BMW 650Ci, which has 367hp on tap, and tops out with the $304,000 Latigo CS V10 Convertible. Fisker also produces a second model, the Tramonto, which is based on the Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG.
